My name is Toby Bogard and I am a truckers book author. My works include On the Big Road and Semi-Aware. I have been a long haul driver for over 9 years. And I am also the founder of Truck-Writer.com

I wrote On the Big Road after a conversation with a rookie driver a few years ago. It addresses gaps in the industry that can help make or break a driver’s career.
Semi-Aware came about because I discovered that the average driver of a non commercial vehicle knows almost nothing about how the way they drive affects semi-truck driving. My goal is to educate others about the laws and limitations of those of behind the wheel of the Big Rigs.
I am currently working on a new book titled, What's My Excuse;30 Days to a More Effective and More Powerful Me! Look for the new Diet & Exercise video DVD designed specifically for drivers coming in January 2011. Trucker Fitness is designed for driver's to do in the sleeper area of their truck. It is a full body workout; All major muscle groups, Upper, Lower Body as well as Abdominal & Cardiovascular. So you want to be a Trucker & a Parent's Guide to teaching your teen to drive are two more video series also coming out in January.
